It looks like a desert to you. It looks like home to me. This is what New Mexico looks like around where I live. I have traveled all over the Americas and this is the most beautiful place I have ever seen.
Never let a Mayan Priest help you build a sweat lodge; unless you are prepared to some serious foolishness. This Brother to me is my spiritual twin and I love working on saving the world with him. He
and his wife are directors of Earth People United with Centers in California and Guatemala.
Wrapped up & cozy after an all night ceremony. Many have said I look like the hooka smoking caterpillar in Alice in wonderland in this photo.
An Amazonian shaman comes to town and shows us his stuff. Because Eric and I have visited with Medicine men all over the Americas, they sometimes come and see us here in the States. This is Paulino Garetta Mojomboy, an Inga Tiata. These are the High Priests of the Amazon jungle.
Ever wonder what a five star hotel in the Amazon would look like? Here is a photo of the residence the Witoto's built for our visit in 1997. Notice the man in the background coming back from the pirana-infested showers. Thank goodness the locals told us when they weren't biting. Too bad the mosquitoes didn't have a schedule.
After the piranha, boas, anacondas and mosquitoes this was my only friend and I thought I might reward him with a cracker.
This picture is the prize of my collection. This is a group photo with the Kogis. If you know who the Kogis are, then you will understand my pride in this picture. The Kogis call themselves the Elder Brother. They had kept themselves hidden from civilization, from the time of Columbus till 1985, and are one of the most spiritually advanced communities on the planet. They say they are in constant telepathic communication with all the great masters on the planet.
